    Feed pellet machine maintenance, debugging, common faults and troubleshooting methods
Feed pellet machine (also know as: pellet feed machine, pellet feed molding machine), which belongs to feed pelleting equipment. It is a feed processing machine that directly crushes granules with crushed materials of corn, soybean meal, straw grass, rice husks, ect.
    How to reduce the cost of feed while sarisfying the nutritional need of various livestock and poultry has become the most urgent problem to be solved by the majority of farmers and the feed industry. Straw biochemical protein feed technoligy is to crush crop straw through fermentation, granulation and other technical measures, so that lignin is softened, crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, ect. Are degraded into substances that are easily digested and absorbed by poulty, and also produced during fermentation A lager amount of mycelium protein becomes soft and ripe after fermentation, sweet, and granulation increase the palatability of livestock. The average level of crude protein and amino acids will increase by 40.6% and 95.8%. Arginine, cystine, and histidine. Not only reducing the food input (equipment to the nutritional value of  270 kg of food feed per ton of straw feed) saves the cost of feed, but also increases the income of farmers.
    Classification of feed pellet machine
    Feed pellet machine is divided into ring die feed pellet machine, flat die feed pellet machine, counter-roll feed pellet machine, according to usage can be divided into: small household pellet feeed machine, poultry feed pellet machine, small poultry pellet feed machine, fish feed pellet machine, rabbit feed pellet machine; pig feed pellet machine, straw feed pellet machine; according to production, it can be divided into: straw feed pellet machine, soybean meal feed pellet machine, corn straw feed pellet machine, wood pellet feed pellet machine wait. Different types of feed pellet machine are dfferent in appearance and production method by classification.

    Feed pellet machine is widely used in large, medium and small aquaculture, food feed processing plants, livestock farms, poulty farms, individual farmers and small and medium- sized farms, farmers or large, medium and small feed processing plants. 
    Main performance characterices of feed pellet machine
    1.  Simple sructure, wide adaptability, small footprint and low noise. 2. The powdered feed and grass powder can be granulated without the addition of a little liquid, so the moisture content of the granulated feed is basically the mositure content of the material before granulation, which is more conducive to storage. 3. The process of particle formation can make the pancreatin resistance factors in grains and legumes degeneration, reduce the adverse effect on digestion, can kill various parasitic eggs and other pathogenic microorganisms, reduce various worms and digestive system diseases.
    Common faults and elimination methods of feed pellet machine
    Failure phenomenon
    First.The output is too low (not even grain)

    Cause of issue: 1. Poor finish of the die for the finish time when the flat die is used; 2. the moisture content of the material is too high or too low; 3. The gap between the pressure roller and the flat die is too large; Ageing. Exclusion method: 1. Grinding and lubricating with oily material, the output will increase after working for a period of time; 2. Adjust the moisture content of the material; 3. Adjust the compression bolt; 4. Tension or replace the V-belt.
    Second. The particles contain too much powdwe
    Couse of failure: 1. Low mositure content; 2. Excessive wear of flat die and too small thickness. Exclusion method: 1. Increase water content; 2. Replace the new flat die.
    Third. The particles are rough 
    Couse of failure: 1. High mositure content; 2. First use of flat die. Exclusion method 1. Reduce water content; 2. Repeat grinding with oily materials.
    Four. Abnormal sound
    Couse of failure:1. Fall into hard debris. 2. bearing damage; 3. Loose parts. Removal method: 1. Stop to remove foreign objects; 2. Replace the bearing; 3. Tighten the parts.
    Five. Sudden stop
    The cause of the fault: 1. The load is too large (even the fuse is blown); 2. A foreign object has entered the cavity. Removal method: 1. Properly increase the gap between the pressure roller and the flat die to replace the fuse; 2. Stop to remove foreign objects.
    New scheme for debugging technology of feed pellets
    One: Debugging process

    1. First of all, we must understand the technological process of the pellet feed technological process of the pellet feed production line and the function of each specific equipment in the technological process; 2. Before commissioning, we should check the operation of a specific equipment one by one, and understand the matching with the die hole of the granulator used the crushing particle size of the crusher, the raw material particle size should be fine, but should not be too fine, preferably coarse, medium and fine, the ideal particle size distribution is recmmended as follows: A, the particle size of 3.35mm or more≤1%  B, the particle size of 2.0mm or more≤5%   C, the particle size of 1.0mm or more is about ≤1%  D, the particle size of 0.5mm or more is about 30%  E, the partcle size of 0.25mm or less should not be less than 20%  F, the particle size of 0.25mm or more is about 24%. Before commissioning, check whether the steam piping system used has a good decompression function and hydrophobic function to ensure the granualtion. Required dry and saturated tempered steam, and can ensure that there is always 0.058-0.4 MPA steam after the pressure reducing value; 5. Before starting the granulator, the distance between the pressure roller and the ring die should be adjusted, generally the pressure when rotating the ring die. The roller seems to rotate non-rotating (that is, the distance between the pressure roller and the ring die is 0.1~0.4mm is the best). Do not make the distance between the ring die and the pressure roller too small, resulting in direct friction, which will not only speed up the ring die and the pressure roller friction, and it will reduce the unit output at the time of production. 6. When starting the granulation equipment, the feeding amount should not be maximized instantaneously, and a little steam for about 5-10 minutes. The material volume reaches the ideal value (that is, the motor current value during normal production is 85~95% of the rated current valud).
    Two: The prevention and corrective measures of undesirable phenomena.
    1. The particles have axial or radial cracks, and the pulverization rate is high and the output is low. The reason for this phenomenon is that the tempering temperature cannot be reached, and the degree of material maturation is poor. The tempering temperature should be increased. Increase the amount of steam during conditioning; it may also be that the cutter is far away and blunt, so that the particles are short or torn rather than cut; 2. The surface of the particles is not very smooth, and the poedering rate is high, which may be a ring die if the compression is relatively small, the ring die compression; 3. The surface of the particles is smooth, but the hardness is too high, it may be that the ring diecompression raio should be reduced; 4. Production when the particle moisture is too high. The output is low, and the phenomenon of machine blockage often occurs. It may be that the pressure reducing effect or the steam trap cannot play a hydrophobic role. The pressure reducing valve should be adjusted so that the steam pressure entering the conditioner is 0.1-0.4MPa, and so that the trap can play a hydrophpbic role. The tempering temperature can also be increased temperature is conductive to the improvement of the maturity of the maerial. Gemerally, when the temperature is increase by 11°C, the mositure of the material increases bu about 1%; 5. The length of the granular material varies, and the cutter distance or adjustment should be adjusted. Feeding deflection and scraping position; 6.
